Welcome to Creativity in Sport
TV Fitness Instructor Lizzie Webb and Olympic rower Debbie Flood spear head this Community Interest Company, which offers ex offenders and other young people at risk of social exclusion the opportunity to achieve a fitness teaching qualification.
“Body Rocks” is an accredited Level 2 Active IQ creative physical activity course, which has been devised in collaboration with young people in the youth justice system. When students qualify, they extend their teaching skills with Creativity in Sport in the “Body Rocks Apprenticeship Scheme” instructing other disadvantaged young people before entering the jobs market.
Creativity in Sport was originally founded in 2003 to explore and develop new concepts in the teaching of exercise and dance. They have devised and delivered several exciting major initiatives, including
“Go! London 2012” a competition to creatively engage school pupils of all ages in the London bid and "Creative Rowing Champions” to celebrate the World Rowing Championships at Dorney Lake Eton in 2006. For more information contact info@creativityinsport.com.
